Glennise Gwyn

Born in Auckland New Zealand Glen was raised at a time when the Nation coming out of the war needed to trust God for its future.  It was common practice for children to be in Sunday School, and Glen’s mum instilled a living faith in her to trust a heavenly Father to provide.

As a young Mum of three children Glen had an encounter with God when she heard Him audibly calling her to rise and seek Him. Face to face God healed childhood fears filling her heart with His Holy Spirit.   She was never the same again as passion to see lives touched and healed became her bread and butter in life.   Five years later Glen’s husband Arthur was tragically killed in a plane crash leaving a little family totally dependent on God’s faithfulness to provide.

Glen served an apprenticeship in what is now Life Church as a Regional Pastor, initiating many of the healing programs still operating today.
She Church planted Soul Church with friends as a fresh step in her relationship with God.   Desire to see a Healing Art Centre that bridged the gap between Church goers and people who wanted an experience of  God that was real and alive motivated this decision.

The phrase ‘come as you are’ became very real.

Today Glen and the team believe they are beginning to experience what will be one of the greatest moves the world has ever seen of the love and faithfulness of God.  The words Heaven to Earth are tossed around to describe what is happening.   In her words “we stand on the threshold of a new day in God that will answer the prayers of all who know that God is alive and moving”.
Soul Church is currently operating in what is called organic growth through prayer meetings, discipleship programs and services that are colorful and full of the Holy Spirit being free to touch lives.
